Are you passionate about master data and would like to work in a friendly, high performing team? We are now looking for Master Data Specialist to join Global Business Services (GBS); this is temporary position, which would last months depending on the employee's location & the start date.
Position will report to the Master Data Manager.
About the Role Master Data Specialist will support the GBS Master Data Services Vendor Master Team, acting as a data steward for all (COMPANY NAME) office sites.
This person will select production sites, resolving end user requests and/or issues with the creation and maintenance of Suppliers.
This position would assist in special projects as needed.
It will also aim to secure efficiency in the vendor creation process while working with Master Data Coordinators, Global Procurement and Accounts Payable.
What You Will Do * Support and execute the actions of the GBS Master Data Services Vendor Master Team which includes.
* Dispatch, track, report and resolve end user requests and/or issues in the Vendor Master process.
* Assist stakeholders in requests related to the creation of new suppliers or the update of existing suppliers.
* Special projects as needed.
* Secure input from other departments / stakeholders for accurate and timely resolution of issues * Contribute to process improvement projects and give input to centrally led projects.
* Interface with Global Procurement, Accounts Payable, Financial Services, Master Data and Controlling.
* Provide end user training if needed.
Who You Are * Bachelor's degree in finance, business, procurement, or related field or equivalent * Previous experience in SAP, Ariba and/or in supporting the vendor creation process is a plus * Master data management understanding * Fluent in English, verbal and written is required.
