The primary aim is to showcase my expertise through the platform.
In addition to my day job, I do lot a lot of teaching / lecturing at universities and through other professional organizations.
I would like to do more of this and want to get out in front of more universities and higher education institutions.
I love public speaking and frankly would like to be on the stage more often.
I unfortunately do not have a lot of content (videos of lectures / speaking engagements I've been involved in) to showcase what I have done, but would like to demonstrate some skills and willingness to help.
I have 30 years on experience in finance.
I am from the US, but reside in South Korea.
It may be ideal to work with someone that has some experience in or knowledge of the South Korean market, but this is not a requirement.
Key Responsibilities.
- Develop and implement a personal branding strategy on LinkedIn - Create engaging articles and blog posts that effectively communicate my expertise.
- Focus content on case studies and success stories, or tips / best practices I can share from my experience.
- Optimize LinkedIn profile including headline, summary, and experience sections.
- Develop a strategy to connect with relevant industry professionals and influencers.
This project would suit a freelancer with a deep understanding of LinkedIn and personal branding, as well as exceptional personal brand building skills.
I am often recognized as being a good speaker and teacher and spend a lot of time trying to get in front of schools and others organizations, but how much would I love it if they contacted me and asked me to teach or speak! Not that this is realistic, but I'm certain I can at least try to upgrade my brand.
Things I can / have spoken regularly about.
finance, investments, presentation skills, public speaking, tips for getting jobs in and succeeding in finance, etc.
Emphasize content that includes "a variety of topics and perspectives" to better demonstrate my skills and willingness to help.
