We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist for a long term role in this project in Lisbon (hybrid).
Required Competences.
MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field; +4 years of professional experience as a Data Scientist or a similar role; Proven knowledge and experience in Machine Learning, NLP, and text dataset curation; Previous experience in coding for real-world data analytics applications; Experience in NLP tasks, such as Text Classification, NER, and Information Retrieval; Experience working with LLMs, OpenAI API (or equivalent), and RAG; Proficiency in Python and ML/DL packages (PyTorch, NumPy, Scikit-Learn, Pandas); Fluency in English and Portuguese.
Preferential Competences.
Experience with Cafe; Knowledge of programming languages like Java, R and C++; Knowledge of cloud tools such as Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud; Experience with MLOPs practices.
