We are looking for an experienced Product Maintenance Engineer to create, maintain, and scale IoT applications using Azure IoT services.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing backend applications using Python and building user-friendly dashboards with ReactJS to visualize and manage IoT data.
You will collaborate closely with development, DevOps, and business teams to ensure seamless integration of IoT solutions into the broader enterprise architecture.
Additionally, you will work on integrating new platforms and systems to expand and enhance our IoT capabilities, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of Azure IoT services, Python development, and frontend technologies like ReactJS, with a proven ability to work in a cross-functional team to deliver innovative IoT solutions.
Job Role/ Your future duties and responsibilities.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable IoT applications using Azure IoT services, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Build and deploy backend solutions in Python to handle IoT data collection, processing, and device communication.
• Develop and maintain dynamic, user-friendly ReactJS dashboards for real-time visualization and management of IoT data.
• Collaborate with development, DevOps, and business teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement features.
• Integrate new IoT platforms, devices, and systems into the existing infrastructure to enhance the IoT ecosystem.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to IoT devices, data flow, and application performance.
• Ensure security best practices are followed for IoT devices, data storage, and application access.
• Optimize IoT applications for scalability, cost-efficiency, and reliability within the Azure cloud environment.
• Monitor and maintain the performance and health of IoT applications, performing regular updates and improvements.
• Stay current with emerging IoT trends, technologies, and best practices, applying them to improve development processes and application functionality.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role Candidate for this role should have 6-8 years of professional experience in developing and maintaining IoT applications, with strong expertise in Azure IoT services, Python for backend development, and ReactJS for building dynamic, data-driven dashboards.
Proficiency in Azure IoT Hub, Azure Stream Analytics, and Azure Functions is essential, along with hands-on experience in integrating IoT devices and external systems into Azure-based solutions.
The candidate should be skilled in working within cloud environments, particularly Azure, and have a solid understanding of security best practices for IoT devices and data management.
Additionally, experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, using Agile methodologies, and troubleshooting complex IoT issues is required.
A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred, and relevant Azure IoT certifications are a plus.
Deep understanding of fuel station operations, including forecourt management and wet stock monitoring.
Knowledge of convenience store workflows such as promotions, customer loyalty programs, and inventory management.
Familiarity with retail-specific systems such as NCR Radiant, Gilbarco Veeder-Root is a plus.
