Your New Role As anInfrastructure Specialist, you will be responsible for managing, maintaining,and supporting the company's IT infrastructure, ensuring efficient and secureoperation of systems and networks.
You will handle the administration ofWindows servers, Fortigate firewalls, VLAN-configured switches, Ubiquiti Wi-Fi,and SOHO Mobile Device Manager, as well as provide support for PCs andprinters.
Responsibilities Manage and maintain Windows servers, including Active Directory (AD) and Remote Desktop Services (RDP).
Administer and optimize Fortigate firewalls, ensuring security and appropriate access rules.
Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot managed switches, ensuring proper VLAN segmentation.
Manage the Wi-Fi network based on Ubiquiti antennas, optimizing coverage and performance.
Administer and support the SOHO Mobile Device Manager service for a network of over 150 devices.
Utilize Scan2Deploy Studio for profile loading.
Perform troubleshooting and technical support for PCs, printers, and other network devices.
Monitor the infrastructure to prevent failures and ensure high availability of services.
Implement security policies and backups to protect data.
Document configurations and technical procedures.
Serve as the point of contact with telecommunications providers.
Requirements Degree in Computer Engineering, Networks, Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience with Windows servers, AD, RDP Services, and Group Policy Objects (GPOs).
Advanced knowledge of Fortigate firewalls (policy configuration, VPNs, network security).
Experience with managed switches and VLAN configuration.
Knowledge of wireless networks, especially in Ubiquiti environments.
Experience with mobile device management via MDM (preferably SOHO).
Knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, etc.).
Problem-solving skills and technical support for end-users.
Good organizational and documentation skills.
Plus Relevant certifications (Microsoft, Fortinet, Ubiquiti, Cisco, etc.).
Experience with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V).
Knowledge of scripting (PowerShell, Bash) for task automation.
