Position Description.
US CITIZENSHIP AND ACTIVE TOP SECRET CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED CGI Federal is currently looking for an Sr.
Information System Security Engineer with active Top Secret clearance to support a large project for a federal government client.
The Sr.
Information System Security Engineer will have the opportunity to work in an agile environment, utilizing a variety of skills and languages in a fast-paced, cutting-edge setting where their input can enhance processes and team interactions.
This position will be based in Washington, DC.
Your future duties and responsibilities.
• Provides technical expertise for the development of program requirements relating to information technology, application analysis, software development, and systems integration.
• Designs, plans, installs and supports network communications systems.
• Provides specifications and detailed schematics for network architecture.
• Provides specific detailed information for hardware and software selection, implementation techniques and tools for the most efficient solution to meet business needs, including present and future capacity requirements.
• Conducts testing of network design.
• Evaluates and reports on new communications technologies to enhance capabilities of the network.
• Ensures the quality of the work produced maintains the highest standards.
• Communicate and coordinate with the back office to ensure that customer requirements are properly captured • Participates in the development of the technical solution through the mandated processes Required qualifications to be successful in this role.
• Active Top Secret clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in software development, or related discipline experience developing and maintaining technical documentation • Software development and maintenance of internal/external interfaces with systems that provide data (IC Data Services, OGA Systems on the Unclassified side, Internal FBI Systems, etc.
• Thought leadership with ability to lead and shape strategic thinking and execution.

ET, C#, Javascript, Java, Perl • Oracle, API Architecture (SOAP/REST), Git • Solr, Bash Shell • Oracle Label Security, PL/SQL • Visual Studio Pro, Selenium • Strong oral and written communication skills, along with public speaking skills.
• Ability to influence and persuade others, as well as handle difficult negotiations requiring a well-developed sense of strategy.
• Ability to mentor, coach, lead, and promote talent.
• Minimum of 8+ years' experience as a Senior-level IT professional Please note that US Citizenship is required for this government contract position.
