Job Description For Houseperson- F/T Overnight(HOZ) in New York City,United States.
Description The House Attendant is responsible for the maintenance and cleanliness of all assigned areas and equipment.
He/she is also responsible for delivering items to guestrooms as specified by hotel management.
esponsibilitiesClean and maintain guest public spaces.
emove linen and trash from guest floors.
acuum guest corridors and public spaces.
eliver amenities to guest rooms as requested (Ie.
hotel toiletries, etc.)Deliver linen/ terry to guest floors.
eliver other items as assigned by hotel management.
uff marble floors daily according to hotel standards.
hampoo carpets in all hotel areas per hotel standards.
hampoo furniture as needed.
andle items for "Lost and Found" according to hotel standards.
ave knowledge of and assist in all emergency procedures.
aintain hotel equipment in proper working order.
aintain storage of hotel equipment in proper area.
omplete special projects as assigned by the Housekeeping Manager.

alary Range:$Qualifications QualificationsHigh School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
ust be able to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 50 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
bility to stand during entire shift.
ust be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all level of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner.
