Siemens Mobility is a separately managed company of Siemens AG with 160 years of experience in the field of transport solutions.
In our People & Organization (P&O) team, we bundle all human resource management initiatives.
This includes all activities in Siemens Mobility related to our staff and our applicants both on an operative as well as strategic level.
We are now searching you as the country Head of P&O (Human Resources) for Portugal, Angola and Mozambique (Southwest Europe Region).
As a trusted partner to the country Management Teams and regional P&O Head, you are translating business requirements into human capital imperatives and are supporting to implement the Global company People Strategy and to fuel the maximum potential of Siemens Mobility’s people to drive business success in your countries.
You will report to the Head of P&O Southwest Europe.
Your key responsibilities In your role you are representing P&O in Portugal, Angola and Mozambique You are closely collaborating with P&O Operations (including GBS-Global Business Services), Global P&O Business Partners as well Regional Company Business Partners and other P&O Expert Teams to ensure alignment between global- and local People strategy You build strong, positive relationships with Leadership Teams in all countries, crafting a sensitive balance between guiding and advising and being a team member You are demonstrating leadership for the entire P&O value chain (incl.
Operations, Expert Teams, etc.) regardless of reporting relationship You ensure the delivery of vertical P&O portfolio You are leading and developing the regional P&O organization (incl.
Budget) according to the overall P&O Strategy of Siemens Mobility You support the optimization of all facets of policies and processes incl.
industrial and labor relations practices in the countries You are ensuring operational efficiency of all P&O matters You understand the business and its strategy, be an active part of the decision-making process across all of the organization You facilitate discussions related to workforce and organization design changes and provide recommendations You are enabling the local business to develop a diverse, robust talent pipeline, keeping a strong focus on diversity, equity & inclusion initiatives You ensure that the training activities are followed through in an environment of continuous learning and innovation You will coach and enable executives to be more effective leaders You are supporting the development and communication of Country People Strategy and its translation into P&O goals and actions Your previous experience & qualification Bachelor’s Degree required.
Master’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or Organizational Development a plus.
You have 5 - 7 years of experience in HR Business English and Portuguese proficient language skills You have leadership experience with people and stakeholder management accountability You are well experienced of leading and influencing larger, diverse and multidisciplinary groups Demonstrable track record building bridges and integrating as well as mentoring teams Deep knowledge about project and software business (mobility or a comparable branch and its strategy).
This includes a general understanding on the external world and its implications on the business and people strategy (e.
.
industries, markets, customers, HR, people practice etc.) You have deep understanding of modern technologies and their applications in HR Management You have a digital mindset and use data-driven metrics to identify areas of improvement and strategic decision making (using Power BI and other tools) You are experienced in GDPR compliance and initiatives related to data storage and protection Demonstrable experience in change management processes related to digital transformation Experience in successfully aligning the people agenda to the wider business strategy You are used to work closely with Senior Executives, effectively communicating on a range of commercial, strategic and operational business issues You have a high level of intercultural sensitivity and the ability to deal confidentially and professionally with Senior managers in different countries You have experience with organizational development and company transformation projects within the software and mobility industry You are result-driven and passionate about achieving measurable outcomes Getting in touch with us - straightforward and direct Go to www.
