The Thompson Austin Guest Experience Agent serves as a key point of contact for guests, combining the roles of concierge, PBX operator, and front desk host.
This hybrid position focuses on delivering exceptional guest experiences by providing personalized service, answering inquiries, facilitating check-ins and check-outs, and ensuring that all guest needs are met seamlessly.

ey Responsibilities.
ront Desk Host Duties:• Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly demeanor upon arrival.• Handle check-ins and check-outs efficiently using property management systems.• Address guest inquiries, process payments, and handle any issues that arise during their stay.• Ensure smooth and accurate communication of guest preferences and special requests with the relevant departments (housekeeping, maintenance, etc.).• Provide a detailed overview of hotel amenities, services, and upcoming events or promotions.• Complete and maintain daily front desk checklists to ensure guest requests, operational tasks, and communication with other departments are properly tracked and addressed.
oncierge Services:• Act as a local expert, offering recommendations on dining, attractions, transportation, and events.• Arrange guest services such as dining reservations, transportation, tours, spa appointments, and other special requests.• Assist with creating personalized itineraries and unique experiences tailored to guests interests.• Stay up-to-date on local trends, seasonal events, and activities to enhance the guest experience.
BX Operator Duties:• Answer and direct all incoming calls through the hotels multi-line phone system promptly and professionally.• Handle internal and external communications, including wake-up calls, guest requests, and room service orders.• Relay messages and requests to appropriate departments, ensuring timely follow-up.• Monitor guest requests and ensure their needs are addressed promptly and accurately.• Complete and update PBX operator checklists to ensure timely tracking and handling of guest communications, requests, and service follow-ups.
