Fullstack Java Developer with React Location.
Brussels, Belgium Hybrid.
2-3 times a week on the client´s office Candidates must possess European nationality or a valid work permit for Belgium Mandatory Languages.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Fullstack Java Developer with React to join our dynamic team.
The successful candidate will work on innovative and scalable projects, leveraging the latest technologies and methodologies to deliver exceptional user experiences and robust backend systems.
You will be responsible for designing and implementing modern, cloud-ready applications using Java for the backend and React for the frontend.
Responsibilities.
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Java and modern frameworks like Spring Boot or Micronaut.
- Build responsive and dynamic frontend applications using React.

- Architect and implement microservices-based solutions using tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and service mesh technologies (e.
., Istio).
- Create and integrate scalable APIs, leveraging standards such as REST and GraphQL.
- Develop cloud-native applications, utilizing platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including serverless solutions.
- Implement best practices for DevOps, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or Ansible.
- Optimize application performance with caching mechanisms (e.
., Redis, Memcached) and advanced database techniques.
- Collaborate in an agile environment, contributing to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Ensure secure development practices, including the use of OAuth2, JWT, and secure communication protocols.
- Manage data persistence and retrieval using both relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra).
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, adhering to best practices and industry standards.
- Stay informed about the latest trends and technologies, providing recommendations to enhance existing systems.
Requirements.
- Proven experience as a Fullstack Developer with expertise in Java and React.

- Strong backend development skills using Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and related technologies.
- Expertise in React development, including hooks, context API, and state management libraries like Redux or MobX.
- Experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs and GraphQL APIs.
- Knowledge of modern architectural patterns such as microservices and event-driven architectures.
- Proficiency with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) tools.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.
., AWS, Azure, GCP) and serverless frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps Pipelines.
- Strong understanding of modern UI/UX principles and tools like Material-UI, TailwindCSS, or Bootstrap.
- Solid understanding of version control systems (Git) and collaboration tools like JIRA or Trello.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications.
- Familiarity with advanced testing frameworks for backend (JUnit, Mockito) and frontend (Jest, Enzyme, React Testing Library).
- Knowledge of observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Elastic Stack (ELK).
- Hands-on experience with streaming platforms like Apache Kafka or RabbitMQ for asynchronous processing.
- Experience with hybrid and progressive web app development using tools like Next.
