he Night Audit Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all night audit functions, ensuring smooth operations during the overnight shift.
This role involves supervising night auditors, managing the front desk operations, and handling guest inquiries and issues that arise during the night.
The Night Audit Supervisor ensures the accuracy of financial transactions and maintains the highest standards of guest service.
ey Responsibilities.
upervise Night Audit Team.
ead, train, and mentor night auditors to ensure efficient and accurate completion of their duties.
chedule shifts and manage staffing levels to ensure proper coverage.
ight Audit Operations.
erform nightly audit functions including reconciling financial transactions, processing end-of-day reports, and balancing cash drawers.
erify and reconcile guest accounts and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded in the property management system.
ront Desk Management.
versee front desk operations during the night shift, including check-ins, check-outs, and guest inquiries.
andle and resolve guest complaints and issues promptly and professionally.
inancial Reporting.
repare nightly financial reports and summaries, including revenue, occupancy, and guest statistics.
nvestigate and resolve discrepancies in financial reports and guest accounts.
ecurity and Safety.
nsure the safety and security of the hotel premises and guests during the night.
onduct routine checks of the property and report any maintenance or safety issues.
ommunication and Coordination.
aintain effective communication with day shift management and other departments to ensure a smooth transition of information.
ocument and report any significant events or issues that occur during the night shift.
ompliance and Standards.
dhere to hotel policies, procedures, and brand standards.
