Descrição: We are hiring for a pioneering investment firm with a strong presence in sports, media and entertainment for a Finance Manager position. The challenge lies in establishing the department's structure and processes.Mission: is to transform athletes into influential entrepreneurs and capitalize on investments in cutting-edge technology and premier sports assets. The strategic position allows them unparalleled access to privileged opportunities, positioning them as leaders in the sector.O que terás de fazer- Financial Leadership and Compliance: Oversee the monthly closing process and the annual Business Plan, working closely with certified accountants. Ensure the financial and accounting practices of local country operations;- Framework: Monitor and control key financial reporting risks, developing a robust local audit framework. Act on auditor feedback to enhance controls and ensure diligent follow-up on identified issues;- Financial Analysis and Profitability: Spearhead initiatives to refine financial analysis, aiming to boost profitability and inform strategic decision-making.- Project Support and Budgeting: Offer comprehensive support in project and strategic budgeting, ensuring thorough follow-up and alignment with overall business goals;- Reporting and Representation: Deliver detailed financial reporting to management, embodying the finance department in system development and implementation projects;- Cashflow Management: Play a key role in managing and reporting on cash flow, enhancing the company's financial stability and growth prospects.- Team management (in the future).O que precisas de garantir- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field;- Minimum of 5 years of experience in investment funds and funding;- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite or Gsuite, with advanced skills in Excel;- Fluency on the Portuguese and English languages, both spoken and written;- Demonstrated experience in financial management, accounting, and audit frameworks.- A passion for the sports, media and entertainment sectors.O que te proporcionamos- An opportunity to shape the financial strategy of a leading investment firm in the dynamic sectors of sports, media, and entertainment;- A chance to work alongside high-profile athletes and industry leaders, driving financial and strategic growth;- A collaborative and inclusive work environment that; encourages diversity and continuous professional learning;- Direct employment contract with the client company;- Hybrid work model;- Coverflex benefits.
