You'll play a crucial role in contributing to the development of highly sophisticated compute and sensing products aimed at driving a safer, greener, and more connected future of mobility.
In this role you will be responsible of assessing occupational and environmental risks, coordinating safety activities, ensuring regulatory compliance and certifications, integrating prevention measures into company practices, and collaborating with external health and safety providers.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and you will have the autonomy to explore your curiosity, having fun and celebrating success along the way.
Here's what you'll be responsible for.
evelop processes for assessing occupational risks and environmental aspectsDesign, program and develop prevention and protection measuresTechnically coordinate environmental and occupational health and safety activitiesOrganize the documentation necessary for managing prevention in the plantPromote the integration of prevention into the company's communication systems, through information, awareness-raising and training for workers and others involved in the workplaceDevelop the company's relations with the bodies of the National Network for the Prevention of Occupational RisksMonitor the plant's internal and external environmental and safety audits and following up on the effectiveness of corrective actionsParticipate in the approval of new chemical products/equipment to be used in the company's factories in conjunction with the Process Engineering and Purchasing areasCollaborate with occupational medicine in the prevention of occupational illnesses and accidentsIdentify and assessing legislative requirements, internal procedures and the requirements of the Environmental and OSH Management System in force and promoting compliance with themDevelop EH&S activities within the scope of Certification processes ISO and related StandardsCoordinate environmental and OSH analyses and monitoring (noise, gas emissions, waste water, drinking water, among others)Define the requirements for handling and storing chemical substancesInterface with External Providers (Occupational Medicine and Nursing Services and Security Services)Your BackgroundEngineering Degree with H&S CertificationFluent verbal and written English knowledgeResults OrientationPlanning, organization and management capacityAbility to work under pressureTeamwork and Interpersonal skillsWhy join us ?You can grow at Aptiv.
