- Having a minimum of 4+ years relevant experience in data governance.
- Practical experience in data governance, including data modelling, cataloguing and lineage.
- Strong understanding of data policies, compliance, privacy and security regulations.
- Experience in data management and business intelligence tools (for example, Collibra, SQL).
- Solid knowledge of data quality principles and ability to define key quality indicators (KQIs).
- Good knowledge of data quality principles, rules and definition of KQI.
- Ability to simplify and communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
Responsibilities.
- Collaborate very closely with our business and data users to understand their requirements, translating complex and unstructured needs into actionable data domains.
All business data needs need to be organized into data domains.
- Define and structure strategic data domains by business unit, identifying the main business processes and corresponding data domains (entities) essential for the business process of each unit.
Develop high-level domains and detailed subdomains that are crucial to feed each business process.
Certification requirements.
- Relevant certifications such as Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP), General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or Data Capability Assessment Model (DCAM) are highly desirable.
