Cybersecurity Specialist Location.
Brussels, Belgium Hybrid.
2-3 times a week on the client´s office Candidates must possess European nationality or a valid work permit for Belgium Mandatory Languages.
One of the national languages (Dutch and French) must be the mother tongue, and the other language must be understood and readable Job Description.
We are looking for a skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to safeguard our systems, networks, and data from cyber threats.
The ideal candidate will design, implement, and monitor security measures to ensure the protection of sensitive information.
Responsibilities.
- Develop and implement security policies, protocols, and controls; - Monitor networks and systems for vulnerabilities and threats; - Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments; - Respond to security incidents and implement corrective actions; - Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements; - Train employees on cybersecurity best practices.
Requirements.
- Proven experience in cybersecurity or a related field (3+ years preferred); - Proficiency with security tools (firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM solutions); - Strong knowledge of threat analysis, malware, and intrusion detection; - Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ (preferred); - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills; - Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field.
