No cutting needed.
The print head will not move during printing.
Any DIY solution will also be considered or developed from off the shelf components.
In that case we shall expect all the source codes, supporting docs, manuals, training as well, included in your fixed price.
We shall assume a pre-built laser, unless specified by you otherwise.
The unit will be packaged by us and controlled by our RPi based system programmatically via TCP, I2C, SPI, UART, or RS485 ports.
So the laser unit must have a comm protocol given.
Marking area 30x30mm to 500x500mm, print from about 2 CM to 5 CM distance to bottle.
Should be low power output around 10 W.
The laser should be human safe.
We like to stay around US$ per unit NRE cost, but is not hard fixed amount.
We have looked for some units but have not found a suitable one.
You may include some development for testing as well, though we have capability as well.
The job is posted arbitrarily as hourly but your bid shall be considered a fixed price.

If you skip any items, we shall assume it in our favor.
If you cannot honor your bid for 6 weeks beyond submission, please do not respond.
All the unencumbered IP rights, editable form of entire designs, drawings, supporting docs, source codes, professional user, installation, maintenance manuals and any other related materials will be submitted to us, before any payment request.
Get approval before using any 3rd party product.
Some training by you to our folks after completion will be included.
Please do not submit copy/pasted, bots, AI generated or just based on JD title & skill set, response.
Any indications of this will go in heavy disfavor for you.
We like to see your work so must submit only your experience relevant to this post (any other expertise you like to share, we will give you opportunity later after award).

1st payment will only be released after a convincing working beta is demonstrated.
