The app includes.
- Booking searches - GPS tracking - Live chat - Google Maps integration Your tasks will include.
- Reviewing and optimizing the existing codebase, which is developed using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Airtable as the backend database, for efficiency and functionality.
- Completing unfinished features, particularly live chat, geolocation sharing, and booking management.
- Ensuring seamless integration with Google Maps and Airtable.
- Debugging and testing to ensure the app is fully functional and user-friendly.
- Implementing enhancements to improve the app's usability and performance.
The app should be deployable on both Android and iOS platforms as a progressive web app (PWA) or with necessary adjustments for mobile frameworks.
A clean, minimalistic, and user-friendly design is essential.
The focus should be on the backend functionality, which needs most improvement.
There are performance issues, particularly a lag in real-time features like live chat, that need to be addressed.
Ideal skills and experience for the job include.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript - Experience with Airtable and Google Maps integration - Mobile app development (specifically for PWA) - Strong debugging and testing skills - Good understanding of backend optimization - UI/UX design experience is a plus.
