CALCULATION APPLICATION SUPPORT ENGINEER [FOR POOLING]

Position Description.
The Calculation Application Support Engineer will assure a determining role in supporting, setting up, deploying and upgrading Calculation Application software and related components for all customers worldwide.
Your future duties and responsibilities.
● Clients assistance and support on Calculation Systems ● Define solutions to resolve user problems and improve global efficiency.
● Use the current ITIL process within the IT Department to manage support activities.
● Continuous improvement to maintain performance and high availability of calculation solutions.
● He/She will report to the IT Calculation Support Manager operating under his leadership for the day-to-day operational activities.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role.
● Bachelor of Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or related field ● At least 5 years’ experience in IS support and maintenance, Business Analysis maintenance, System analysis or related fields.
● Ability to analyze and synthesize situations ● Ability to understand the business constraints ● Good communication skills, both written and verbal in English ● Maintains strong attention to detail in high-pressure situations ● Available for emergencies on-call support rotations with other team members ● Capacity of problem analysis, capable of learning by himself/herself and self-motivated ● Good interpersonal skills, intercultural ● Intermediate Technical skill on IIS, XML, MS SQL DB, Amazon (Cloud Computing -AWS) ● Requires excellent computer skills and ability to use available technical tools ● Knowledge in network configuration would be a plus ● Customer oriented and good teamwork ● Must be comfortable working onsite 3 days a week in Alabang on either morning or mid-shift Skills.
