BACKEND INTEGRATION SPECIALIST – PROJECT-BASED (HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY)

This role is ideal for a seasoned backend developer with expertise in XML and JSON integrations, API development, and AWS cloud infrastructure, specifically within the hospitality industry.
? Payment Structure.
✔️ Multiple integrations to be completed.
✔️ Compensation is based on each successfully completed and certified integration.
Key Responsibilities.
? Develop and implement integrations between our Booking Engine and external platforms using XML and JSON APIs.
? Map and transform data fields between different systems to ensure seamless synchronization.
? Troubleshoot and optimize API connectivity, ensuring high performance and reliability.
? Work with our backend team to design scalable and secure integration solutions within AWS.
? Provide best practices for integrating with PMS, Channel Managers, and third-party systems in the hospitality sector.
? Required Skills & Experience.
✅ 5+ years of experience as a Backend Developer, specializing in API integrations.
✅ Proven experience integrating Booking Engines with Channel Managers and PMS.
✅ Strong knowledge of XML, JSON, RESTful APIs, and Webhooks.
✅ Deep understanding of PMS and hospitality industry standards.
✅ Experience working with AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, DynamoDB, RDS, etc.).
✅ Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug API interactions.
