We’re currently partnering with an amazing client and looking for an Azure Data Engineer to join their growing team.
Key Responsibilities.
• Design, implement, and maintain highly available and scalable infrastructure on cloud platforms.
• Build and maintain deployment pipelines using CI/CD tools, with a particular focus on GitHub Actions (GHA).
• Implement and manage containerization solutions, especially Docker and Kubernetes.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Pulumi or Terraform.
• Ensure secure, high-performance, and reliable software delivery across infrastructure platforms.
• Identify and implement system and process improvements, including automation and monitoring solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues effectively.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new features and technologies.
• Report directly to the Head of DevOps.
Requirements.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or a similar role.
• Strong experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining infrastructure on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Proficiency in containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proven experience with deployment pipeline technologies such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and others.
• Strong scripting skills using languages like Python or Bash.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and infrastructure management tools.
• Familiarity with database technologies (Elasticsearch, SQL, Redis).
• Understanding of agile development methodologies.
• Knowledge of security and compliance standards (PCI-DSS, HIPAA, SOC2).
