The Architect will work closely with data science, data product managers, and data engineering teams to meet data and data product requirements of various initiatives in Hyatt.

The Role This individual will work closely with development teams, system engineers, and platform operations to create scalable applications on the web.
This individual takes a direct hand in the design and architecture of the system and ensures that the applications are scalable and built according to best practices and following Hyatt's standards.•Oversees and coordinates solution strategies within a specific product area to ensure the technologies are interconnected and scale efficiently to maximize performance.•Establishes relationships and partners with both internal and external team members.•Assumes team-level architectural responsibilities, ensuring that the development teams are using the appropriate technology for the problem.• Expert in and proven experience with design and architecture patterns.•Considers multiple approaches and recommends the best technical direction including logic and reasoning.• Evaluate new frameworks and tools, building reference architectures to demonstrate how these technologies can be leveraged by a team.•Creates reusable framework components and pattern libraries that aid development teams utilizing those technologies.•Creates RFC and other documentation to document new standards.•Mentors engineers in scalability, fault tolerance, and other SOA operational concerns.

•8+ years of progressively complex experience in full-time development and leadership roles.
