Application Support Engineer - Java/Microservices/APIs Country.
Portugal Responsibilities.
* Provide Intermediate level triage skills for Middleware platforms * Develop and implementation of controls and automations * Ability to manage priorities, incidents and problems * Daily ticket analysis and resolution, root cause analysis and problem creation * Work with our monitoring team to identify, prioritize, resolve problems, and enhance our service offering to clients * Document and communicate incidents, outages, ticket status, problem resolutions (internally and externally), and escalate tickets appropriately * Create high quality technical documents quickly and accurately * Developing a good understanding of the existing application (functional and technical) Qualification Requirements.
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related * Basic concept of distributed systems architecture in APIs * Knowledge of distributed environment applications (micro-services) in Java/Springboot * Experience in automation languages preferred (Python/Bash) * Knowledge of databases and the SQL language (PL SQL / Transact SQL) * Able to establish friendly, professional and trust relationships with internal teams and external suppliers, contributing to a flexible, stable, and team-oriented working culture * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
