The ideal candidate will have expertise in WordPress development, SEO, UX/UI design, and performance optimization, with a focus on delivering a fast, secure, mobile-responsive website optimized for local SEO.
The goal is to improve user experience, speed, and conversion rates while ensuring the website is optimized for search engines.
Key Responsibilities WordPress Development & Customization.
Customize the existing WordPress theme (Airtech) and integrate essential plugins.
Ensure the website is optimized for performance and responsive across all devices.
Implement necessary updates and maintenance for security and backups.
SEO Optimization.
Optimize on-page SEO elements (meta tags, headings, alt texts) for improved search engine ranking.
Implement local SEO strategies, including Google My Business integration and schema markup for HVAC services in our local area.
Ensure NAP (Name, Address, Phone) consistency across the site and in relevant local directories.
Page Speed Optimization.
Implement caching, image optimization (lazy loading, compression), and minification of CSS/JavaScript.
Set up a CDN (Content Delivery Network) to improve load times for visitors in our local area.
Optimize database performance (MySQL) to ensure the site runs efficiently.
User Experience (UX) & Interface (UI) Design.
Refine website navigation, layout, and structure to improve user flow and conversions.
Design and optimize clear call-to-actions (CTAs) to encourage bookings and inquiries.
Ensure a smooth user journey with a focus on mobile-friendliness and accessibility.
Security & Maintenance.
Implement security best practices, including firewall setup, malware protection, and regular backups.
Set up and configure WordPress security plugins (e.
., Wordfence, Sucuri).
Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO).
Analyze the current website to identify and implement strategies that increase lead generation and service bookings.
Optimize forms, buttons, and CTAs for maximum effectiveness.
eCommerce/Payment Integration (if needed).
If applicable, integrate a payment system for booking services online (e.
., WooCommerce or another payment gateway).
Ongoing Maintenance.
Provide post-launch support and regular updates.
Be available for future tasks, website updates, or troubleshooting as needed.
