CONTEXT.
The wayside team is globally responsible to link Information technology (IT) with Operational Technology (OT), that covers, but limited to.
fleet management systems, maintenance systems, Passenger information systems, and everything related to fleet monitoring.
We are a small team that covers different technologies and solutions from different timeframes, it requires to be well versed into technologies and sometimes being creative and not being afraid of reverse engineering.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES.
Working closely with the analysis and development teams to translate requirements into tests, Develop, validate and execute test procedures for the validation of the server based software solutions, Assist in the design, planning and execution of the test environment improvement Develop and maintain testing tools required for validation, REQUIRED PROFILE.
Bachelor degree in software engineering, computer science, electronic or equivalent, 2 to 6 years of relevant work experience, Good knowledge of Microsoft Windows environment, deployment and configuration, Understanding of Windows Services, IIS, Message Queues, would be an asset, Proven previous experience of software programming in a professional environment, Python, SQL, C# would be an asset, Knowledge of ethernet networks and protocols.
