The UX Expert at T UX is a key driver for user experience innovations across all business areas and belong the hole Human-centered design process.
The position is embedded in different research activities and in a lot of challenging UX consulting projects inside the company.
As UX Expert you will support our clients to define the right things to create user centered interfaces.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our global multidisciplinary UX Studios and cross-functional teams to advocate the needs of the user, shaping our next generation products.
As a User Experience Designer, you will be instrumental to elaborate innovative solutions solving our user’s pains and serving their needs.
You will translate our sophisticated technology products and embedded systems into simple and intuitive experiences, impacting our user’s daily life.
What is your role in this? You are an experienced UX Expert and will help to define digital offerings for our clients in all Siemens Business units worldwide.
You are responsible for driving UX innovation with your expertise and integrate it into customer projects in an efficient way and become part of the UX transformation at Siemens.
Participate and lead projects with Siemens businesses, including research & development as well as technical consulting in the broader field of UX.
You will build up a Siemens-internal network to acquire projects that convert research results into business impact and maintain relationships to the business units within Siemens.
The digital transformation is going on in the company and UX is playing an important role in this transformation process.
Therefore, you should be able to fill in a key role in UX & IOT projects.
Furthermore, you maintain projects with key universities and institutes to expand technology portfolio and jointly pursue public funding opportunities.
We are looking for someone with… You are an experienced UX professional with a background in digital design and human centered design, ideally added with research skills and have a bachelor’s degree or higher in design (e.
., Product, Interaction, Graphic, Visual Communications, etc.) or related field.
Moreover, you have at least 5 years of proven experience as a UX Designer and UI Designer.
You should also have first leading experiences, and the ability to break down complex work tasks to hand able work units.
We expect a strong portfolio of work demonstrating design skills to conceptualize interaction flows, and building wireframes, user interface mockups and prototypes that shows your deep understanding of user-centered design process in practice.
You need the ability to use industry standard design and prototyping tools (e.
.
Figma) and leverage design systems at an intermediate level, ideally higher.
Furthermore, you should be able to built up design systems and managing on a larger scale in the near future.
For your projects you need a proven experience with designing for web (e.
., responsive design, feasibility of designs with implementation in web), ideally you bring in experiences with e-business applications and you should be familiar with the specifics of Industrial UX as well.
Experience in working with cross-functional and international teams – also remote, leading design sprints and workshops is part of your daily business.
Fluent English and demonstrated written and verbal communication skills are recommended.
Basic German skills or any other European language would be an advantage.
The position needs a trustful and reliable nature with strong organizational skills, hands-on mentality, and solution oriented is needed.
Deep skills in analytical thinking and problem-solving, and of course the passion for emerging technologies and hunger to innovate should complete your personality.
Team leader experience would be welcome but not necessary.
