The Space, Defence and Intelligence business unit in CGI is a true IT Systems Integrator.

You will ideally be commutable to Leatherhead or Bristol and work on site for one day per week, the rest from home with ad hoc travel within South-East UK.
Your future duties and responsibilities.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Test Lead to join a complex development project in the SatComs domain.
CGI are developing an extremely complex optimisation engine for our customer.
You will be responsible for validating the overall solution, leading a team of test analysts developing automated and manual tests, and coordinating formal acceptance campaigns with the CGI and customer teams.
This role involves working with the test, solution architecture and development teams to iterate tests in a difficult problem space and maintain traceability from tests to requirements.
As a Test Lead, your key responsibilities will include.
- Reviewing Features and Requirements, with specific focus on the acceptance criteria, their formalisation into the automated testing language and their mapping to test cases and test data needs - Test design, grouping of features and requirements into related tests and defining what test data (or other dependencies) are needed for test cases/scenarios.
- Maintaining test to requirements traceability - Planning and preparing tests - Establishing and tracking the test progress - Writing and executing tests as needed - Leading the test team, preparing tasks for the team and supporting junior team members - Demonstrating features to the customer as part of informal and formal acceptance meetings Required qualifications to be successful in this role.
The successful candidate will display a range of the following skills and experiences.
- Experience of leading teams to validate complex software - Performing within a customer-facing role.
- A background / previous experience working with the Space / SatComs domain - Technical experience of working with Developers / Designers - Manual and automation testing experience - Ability to learn new technologies Skills.
