CGI is looking for a T-SQL Developer to join our team.
Your future duties and responsibilities.
Main Responsibilities.
• Design and optimize complex SQL queries for high-performance data retrieval and manipulation.
• Optimizing database performance and ensuring data integrity.
• Troubleshooting and resolving database-related issues.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions.
• Creating and maintaining database documentation.
• Provide estimates for work / updates of status and estimates to complete.
• Support user tests.
• Provide 3rd level support.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role.
Technical Skills.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering • Strong proficiency in T-SQL and database concepts • Minimum 5 years’ experience with database development tool MS SQL Server and associated technologies • Familiarity with performance tuning and query optimization • Knowledge of data modeling and database design principles.
• Experience with IBM WebSphere Transformation Extender [nice to have] Language Skills.
• English – Expert Soft Skills.
• Rigorous, autonomous, team-oriented, result-oriented and proactive.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira.
• At ease with financial concepts and/or interested to learn the Business & Bank organization.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and strong analytical thinking.
