Job Description We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Java Developer to lead and execute critical development and migration tasks.
The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in the Java platform, hands-on experience with JDK7 and JDK8 migrations, and the ability to modernize legacy systems to align with current technological standards.
Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach are essential for working within our dynamic team.
Responsibilities.
The tasks to be done definitely require someone who has at least several years of programming practice in general and has worked intensively with JDK7 and JDK8.
Profound knowledge on the Java Platform, in particular knowledge on JDK7 and JDK8 is required and how to migrate from JDK7 to JDK8 (must have) and higher.
Very good knowledge on Maven, Hibernate (migrate openJPA to Hibernate) and Spring frameworks.
Very good skills in complex SQL environments (in particular MariaDB).
Docker.
OpenID Connect.
CI/CD and GIT experience.
Know how to build REST APIs Ability and interest to migrate old Java technology stack to a newly defined stack.
V ery good E nglish language proficiency and communication skills.
G ood teamwork approach (build relationships easily).
