Could you be the full-time Telecom Design Engineer in our Urban/Mainline projects department we’re looking for?     Your future role Take on a new challenge and apply your comprehensive technical expertise in a new cutting-edge field.
You’ll work alongside dedicated and innovative teammates.
You'll contribute to the design of state-of-the-art Telecom sub-systems for our transport projects, ensuring they meet customer requirements and project objectives.
Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Project Managers, System Solution Leaders, Interface Managers, Civil Contractors, etc.), crafting design documents and liaising with vendors for various Telecom sub-systems and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of participating in design workshops with customers, securing approvals in line with project milestones, and supervising and supporting the Testing & Commissioning (T&C) team, but also interfacing with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and concluding design documents with customers.

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field Minimum of 10 to 12 years of relevant experience in the rail Telecom domain or IT/Telecom industry, with at least 5 years in Metro projects Experience in designing various Telecom sub-systems to meet customer's design, operational, and functional requirements Knowledge of developing interfaces of Telecom with other systems like Signalling, Rolling Stock, etc.
