Position Description.
CGI has an immediate need for a Sr.
Business Analyst to join our team in.
​​This position can be located at any CGI office in the U.
, (in CT or ET) preferred location is Reston, VA, Plano, TX or Columbia, SC.

Your future duties and responsibilities.
• Seeking a business analyst who can pick up on the business process (complexity) and be flexible to understand the details/support analyst move to the cloud.
This role will gather requirements and create user stories.
• Support application systems analysis.
• Provide results with minimal supervision.
• Write, present information, and respond to questions from stakeholders.
• Contribute individually and as a member of a team.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role.
• 8+ years of experience conducting Business Analysis work • Excellent communication skills (oral and written) • Ability to learn new tools, technologies, and business concepts quickly specially in Agile and Waterfall methodologies for software delivery.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability​ties with increased attention to detail • In-depth knowledge of PC usage and related software packages, including but not limited to all Microsoft Office products, Visio, Toad, Workday Studio, JIRA, etc.
• Demonstrated ability to develop high-quality deliverables, including detailed requirements specifications, flow, process, context and state diagrams, and other documentation and release-related artifacts.
• Prefer experience working on system analysis and authoring functional/technical and integration specifications for data warehouse applications • In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Data Analysis techniques.
• Very proficient in writing simple and complex SQL queries to perform data profiling, refine/validate requirements, understand data dependencies and integration requirements, and analyze/interpret data​.
Education:​​ ​Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
