Position Description.
Be part of a CGI Federal client facing team who is migrating grants and grantee data from client legacy system and/or Momentum to a new grants management platform as part of their larger modernization effort.
The client counterparts are very pleasant to work with and CGI and client team work side by side as one team.
The project provides opportunities to learn from senior Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) that have supported CGI clients over years.
This position can be located remotely anywhere in the U.
.
Your future duties and responsibilities.
Serve as a SQL/SQR developer who can understand the client’s existing accounting/vendor/reconciliation reports that are generated from obligations/grants and grantee database.
In addition, the client will rely on the candidate to modify the existing reports and develop complex reports that pull meaningful financial data based on functional requirements analyzed by the functional team.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role.

The candidate will also develop and/or analyze existing SQL scripts that are used to pull grants/obligation related data from Momentum which will be used for a major IT modernization initiative b.
Manage and maintain logs of changes that are being made to reports for tracking purposes c.
Attend meetings with the client to understand reporting issues and lead meetings to elaborate on fixes and changes to the reports Required qualifications to be successful in this role.

Ņ-7 years of SQL experience e.
If the candidate has C++ development experience along with SQL skills (in case some of the logic needs to be included as a batch program), that would be really great.
This is desired but not required.
f.
The SQL scripts can go up to about 400 lines with multiple unions and joins as well as creating temp tables prior to summarizing the data CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role.
The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and license and certifications.
To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role.
