System Design & Engineering: Design photovoltaic (PV) solar power systems, including electrical layouts, wiring diagrams, and system specifications, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to safety codes and regulations (NEC, UL).
Site Assessments & Feasibility Studies: Conduct site visits to assess feasibility and determine optimal solar panel placement, electrical connections, and system sizing based on energy needs and environmental conditions.
Project Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and installers to oversee the installation and commissioning of solar energy systems.
System Analysis & Troubleshooting: Perform detailed system performance analysis, identify faults, and provide troubleshooting solutions to ensure reliable, long-term system operation.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all solar electric designs and installations comply with local, state, and national regulations, including utility interconnection standards.
Performance Monitoring & Optimization: Monitor the performance of installed systems and implement corrective actions to maximize energy efficiency and output.
Technical Documentation & Reporting: Prepare detailed technical reports, system documentation, and as-built drawings to support installation, maintenance, and future upgrades.
Research & Development: Stay updated on the latest trends, technologies, and innovations in solar energy, and provide insights for improving system designs and project processes.
