Job Description Shape the future.
You are the point of contact in the Business Unit Video Systems for software quality related issues in development, in agile product teams and you also act as a representative of customer interests.
Take responsibility.
You work as a Software Quality Manager – (Engineering Product Quality - EPQ-Sw) for the Business Unit Video systems and are the stakeholder for software product quality during in development phase as well as for released products in the field.
You support the development, alignment and implementation of the Software Quality Strategy for the Business Unit including all product areas of the business unit.
You support the software quality assurance activities in projects and release the development activities of the projects during the respective development phases from quality point of view.
Use creativity and freedom.
You ensure the maturity of our software, systems, and services during the complete product lifetime through expert guidance and coordination of all software related quality aspects.
You derive measures to improve preventive quality and contribute to their implementation in the development process.
You work closely with internal and external partners from other product areas and departments.
Living cooperation.
You are a review partner for the project teams in the field of software development, software quality and software testing.
You check and ensure compliance with internal and external requirements, regulations, and standards.
You align the strategy with the business unit management, product areas as well as with central departments.
You care about knowledge transfer on quality topics between teams and contribute to find common solutions valuable for many projects.
Implement it holistically.
You are responsible for adhering to quality assurance measures in the development process.
In the project teams, you are authorized to give instructions regarding quality topics and evaluate the product maturity in terms of content and processes.
You establish key process indicators (KPIs) in the organization and monitor, measure, report and start improvement activities.
You review and analyze customer feedback and complaints to drive improvement activities and derive valuable feedback regarding usage of quality and engineering methods.

Experience and know-how.
Practical experience in software development, excellent knowledge of agile software development processes (e.

Familiar with modern software development and DevOps tools, e.
., Git, GitHub, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Jira.
Knowledge in test automation or static analysis tools is a plus.
Experience with Product Engineering Processes executing quality assurance plans for complex systems.
Knowledge in the design and industrialization of products is a plus (based on e.

Quality production methodologies, engineering methodologies) as well as experience in the implementation of compliance topics.
Working method.
Customer and goal-oriented, independent, structured and methodical as well as working in changing national and international multicultural teams.
Languages.
English - spoken and written Education.
Bachelor or Master Degree in software engineering, computer science, computer engineering, or related fields.
