• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and paginated reports using Power BI Report Builder, Power BI Desktop, DAX Studio, Tabular Editor, Snowflake & SQL • Experience with developing Analytics with Microsoft Power BI - Multiple graphs with Drill Downs and Multiple tabs, Detail Tables, Filter Dimensions, Queries, Interactive Elements such as Advance Dynamic Visibility, Dropdowns, Drill Downs, Complex calculations in Query Editor, Transformations.
• Experience developing and managing complex paginated reports using Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) or Microsoft Power BI • Strong experience in writing, optimizing, and maintaining SQL queries, views, and stored procedures to support reporting and data extraction needs.
• Creation of the Semantic Layer (Cubes) based on the data warehouse design and business requirements.
• Creation of all reporting elements such as filters, hierarchies, custom groups as required by the Reports and Analytics.
• DAX Query writing with various sources • Experience with Dimension data modelling.
• Adopt best practices in completion of the assigned tasks ensuring efficiency and accuracy of the desired results.
• Perform required unit testing and validation of all Reporting objects.
• Perform in-depth data and functionality validation.
• Prepare required testing scripts and validation routines as per the testing strategy.
• Conduct Integration testing on respective work stream modules and document test results effectively.
• SQL knowledge (query performance tuning, index maintenance, etc.) as well as an understanding of database structure • Work with QA associates to resolve defects Your future duties and responsibilities.
• Ability to pick up new reporting tools and concepts quickly.
• Requires strong analytical, conceptual and problem-solving abilities • Experience in working in an Agile environment.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and assess and adjust quickly to changing priorities.
• Requires leadership qualities to mentor junior members of the team.
• Proficiency with BI Tool like SAP BusinessObjects a plus, MS Power BI is must have • Performance tuning experience related to reporting queries required.
• Understanding of data integration issues (validation and cleaning), familiarity with complex data and structures • Programming / scripting experience and knowledge of software development life cycle is preferred.
• Having at-least basic knowledge on the replication concepts and tools.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role.
• 4-6 years of experience in creating Semantic Models & ETL processes.
• Hands on experience in Writing Complex SQL Queries • Creating reports and Analytics using Power BI • Team player • Good time-management skills • Great interpersonal and communication skills Technologies required.
• BI Tool - must have MS Power BI - Power BI Report Builder, Power BI Desktop, SAP BusinessObjects a plus • Pentaho exp a plus • SQL • DAX Studio • Tabular Editor • Snowflake Primary Skills Experience with Paginated reports and Analytics, DAX Studio, Snowflake & SQL Secondary Skills SAP Business Object Skills.
