This company works with major Telecom companies worldwide and is developing a new software product for mobile telecommunications networks.
The ideal candidate should have experience in creating scalable software platforms, knowledge of relevant protocols and cloud deployment, excellent communication skills, and a passion for innovation in the global market.
Your New Role • Lead requirements and design of software solutions, translating high-level requirements into concrete architectures • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including management, UX/UI designers, and quality assurance to deliver comprehensive solutions • Actively participate in the development process by writing code, reviewing code contributions, and troubleshooting technical issues • Understand the latest technologies, specifications and industry trends in areas like SIP, VoIP and messaging • Know-how about cloud resources from the main providers (AWS, Azure and GCP) to deliver highly-scalable and highly-reliable solutions • Maintain updated project plans for the timely delivery of software releases • Regularly report project status and milestones using clear and concise terms • Assist in preparing RFI/RFP responses • Perform technical and functional presentations to customers What You'll Need to Succeed • BSc or MSc degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, or related • Minimum +10 years of experience with software solutions in the telecommunications sector, 2 years preferably spent in solutions architecture in the Telecom domain • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java or Kotlin, with a deep understanding of software development methodologies and best practices • Experience with agile methodologies • Technical background in Telco with a strong knowledge of SIP, VoIP and messaging • Proficient in Unix/Linux • Proactively and energetically lead projects in a team environment • Must be fluent in English and good communication skills (written and verbal) • Strong organisational skills and presentation abilities • Proactive, able to take initiative and operate independently What You'll Get Flexible Work Model.
