Want to know more about GBS? Check out here! Are you ready to be part of the change and help us make real what matters? Your mission will be… * Leverage your advanced SQL skills and dbt expertise to develop efficient data transformations and models.
* Leverage your Snowflake data engineering experience to design and implement scalable, high-performing data architectures.
* Implement robust data sharing strategies within Snowflake, leveraging stored procedures, user-defined functions, and external network access.
* Develop data ingest strategies to seamlessly integrate new data sources for data products into the Snowflake environment.
* Integrate Confluent, AWS and other platforms with Snowflake to enable end-to-end data pipelines.
* Develop APIs to facilitate data sharing and integration between various systems.
* Ensure the smooth integration of new data sources and platforms into the (COMPANY NAME) Data Cloud.
* Work closely with cross-functional teams to harmonize and standardize Snowflake deployments, enhancing consistency and efficiency.
* Provide expert troubleshooting and support to resolve issues related to Snowflake services and infrastructure.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest Snowflake and cloud technology updates, seamlessly integrating new capabilities.
* Create and maintain comprehensive documentation to ensure clarity and accessibility for the (COMPANY NAME) Data Cloud community.
We are looking for someone with… * Master's Degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
* Extensive experience in Snowflake, Data Engineering and Architecture.
* Proficiency in SQL, dbt, and Snowflake-specific features and capabilities.
* Preferably experience in cloud engineering and AWS.
* Expertise in integrating platforms like Kafka with Snowflake is a plus.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
* Fluency in German and English.
