Senior Test Automation Engineer Exp.

days Responsibilities.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium with Python.
• Build and enhance test automation frameworks to support continuous integration and delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test strategies and ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Execute automated tests, analyze results, and report defects to the development team.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Perform manual testing to validate new features and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Identify, document, and track defects found during manual testing.
• Mentor and guide junior QA engineers, providing technical leadership and support.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve test automation practices.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in test automation tools and techniques.
Education.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in software testing and automation (e.
., ISTQB, Certified Selenium Professional) are a plus.
Experience.
• 4-6 years of experience in software testing and test automation.
• Proven experience in developing and maintaining test automation frameworks using Selenium and Python.
• Hands-on experience with continuous integration tools (e.
., Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and version control systems (e.
., Git).
• Experience with test management tools (e.
., Jira, TestRail) and defect tracking systems.
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
Skills.
• Strong programming skills in Python and proficiency in Selenium WebDriver.
• Excellent understanding of HTML, CSS, and XPath locators.
• Ability to design and implement robust test automation frameworks.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into the build process.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in manual testing and strong understanding of QA methodologies and processes.
