As a valuable member of our Service team in our Boutique Hotel, your duties will include the following responsibilities.
• Set up the dining room for breakfast service & ensure the buffet layout is appealing and replenish stocks as necessary.
Assist with clearing up after breakfast.
• Greet patrons, make F&B recommendations, answer questions and share any additional information with customers on the day's options.
Record on register and orient • Offer service at breakfast time in the hotel dining room and take food and beverage orders via the snack bar.
Deliver food to guests when needed and regularly tend to patrons' needs throughout their visit.
• Ensure two-way communication with the Kitchen for service to be effective • Process invoices any "orders" for extras and charge the expense to the customer's account for check-out • Forward suggestions, complaints and from customers to the Kitchen and Management • Relieve Front Desk when needed.
Responsible for greeting & welcoming guests.
Assigning rooms and providing keys/codes.
Assisting with or organizing assistance with luggage if necessary.
Takinghandling staff requests.
Managing check-ins and check-outs, guest accounts, collecting payments.
• Flexible for work shifts as required We look for a candidate with the following qualifications and profile.
• Previous service experience in a hotel or restaurant (2 years plus) • A formal qualification in Tourism or Hospitality would be advantageous • Effective communication skills (English and Portuguese are essential) • The ability to work under pressure • Having a team spirit with a hands-on, reliable and resourceful approach Please apply by sending an updated CV/Resume to our email (If you have not had a reply within 2 weeks, please know that your application was not successful)
