The ideal candidate is responsible for leading role in designing, developing, and optimizing martech solutions to create innovative marketing solutions that that drive business value and delight customers.
This person will collaborate with engineer, design, marketing, analytics and other teams to creatively solve problems and drive towards simple solutions.
The candidate will work across Marriott to create lean technical solutions that allow teams to learn about impact of their work and determine next steps creating a feedback loop.
ANDIDATE PROFILEEducation and ExperienceRequired.
5+ years hands-on experience with application development tools Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience/certificationPreferred.
8+ years experience in software development with experience in AEM, React, and CI/CD pipelines Experience in working with small teams and running lean experiments Skilled at converting business opportunities into technology tests Demonstrated ability to assess customer needs, creatively approach solutions, and decide and influence appropriate courses of action Excellent communicator, both written and spoken Lead implementation and customization of martech platforms such as Adobe AEP and CDP to support marketing campaigns Demonstrated ability to deliver results under challenging conditions, particularly when faced with complexity, ambiguity, and aggressive timelinesCORE WORK ACTIVITIESTechnical Leadership Trains and/or mentors other team members, and peers as appropriate Provides financial input on department or project budgets, capital expenditures or other cost/resource estimates as requested Identifies opportunities to enhance the service delivery processes.
