SENIOR SECURITY OPERATIONS CENTRE (SOC) SPECIALIST

In this role, you will proactively identify and respond to ongoing attacks, collaborating with the incident response team to minimise impact.
Location – Geneva (onsite - 5 days a week) Responsibilities.
- Utilise SIEM tools in a way to protect critical vulnerabilities - Oversee day to day operations of SOC - Access and improve SOC processes - Act as a primary incident responder - Collaborate with external partners, such as government agencies and industry groups, to share and receive threat intelligence.
Qualifications & Requirements.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
7 years of cybersecurity experience in security operations At least 5 years of experience in a SOC or CERT environment, with a focus on incident response and threat detection.
Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (e.
., NIST, ISO ) and best practices.
Proficiency in using SIEM tools (e.
., Splunk, ArcSight), IDS/IPS, firewalls, and other security technologies.
