Position Description.
CGI Federal is currently seeking Scrum Masters with active Top-Secret SCI clearances to support a large project for a federal government client.
**US CITIZENSHIP AND ACTIVE TOP SECRET SCI CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED** This position will be based in Washington, DC area.
Your future duties and responsibilities.
• Facilitate and guide all Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum meetings, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Coach and mentor, the development team on Agile practices and Scrum principles.
• Assist the Product Owner in managing the product backlog and prioritizing user stories.
• Identify and eliminate impediments that hinder the team's progress.
• Understand, visualize, and manage upstream/downstream dependencies.
• Cultivate a collaborative and transparent work environment within the team.
• Drive delivery and continuous improvement by utilizing feedback and metrics to identify areas for enhancement.
• Continuously enhance the team's Agile practices through retrospectives and process optimization.
• Coordinate development and integration testing across multiple teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.
., design, QA) to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Monitor team progress, metrics, and velocity.
• Stay informed about the latest Agile trends and best practices.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Technology, or related discipline.
• Minimum of 8-10 years' experience as a Scrum Master.
• Experience in a Scrum Master or Agile project management role • Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure Cloud teams works in an Agile SCRUM framework with maximum transparency and accountability, with the staff divided into multiple teams that adapt to current and new priorities.
• Guides the team through SAFe Agile and SCRUM ceremonies, including but not limited to daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint demos, and retrospectives, facilitating team collaboration by ensuring communication and resolving any blockers that arise during the sprint Please note that US Citizenship is required for this government contract position.
