Position Description.
CGI Federal is currently looking for a Senior Scrum Master with an active Top-Secret clearance to support a large project for a federal government client.
This position is ideal for an experienced Scrum Master proficient in the agile SaFe development framework.
**US CITIZENSHIP AND ACTIVE TOP SECRET CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED** This position will be based in Washington, DC area.
Your future duties and responsibilities.
• Act as a leader to our software development team • Oversee design, implementation, QA, and validation of programming code and products • Create project outlines and timelines and distribute responsibilities to team members • Facilitate daily scrums, stand-ups, and meetings to monitor project progress and resolve any issues the team may be experiencing • Shape team behavior through excellent management via the agile method • Perform reviews on software development team members • Remove project obstacles, develop solutions with team • Ensure milestones are reached and deadlines are met throughout project lifecycle • Build strong relationships with stakeholders, application users, and program owners • Document progress and communicate to upper management and stakeholders • Take responsibility for successful product delivery Required qualifications to be successful in this role.
• Must have at least 8+ years of experience as a Scrum Master.
• Experience playing the Scrum Master role for at least 6 years for a software development team that was diligently applying Scrum principles practices, and theory.
• Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications.
To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role.
Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
