The Space, Defence and Intelligence business unit in CGI is a true IT Systems Integrator.

Due to the secure nature of the programme, you will need to hold UK Security Clearance or be eligible to go through this clearance.
This is a hybrid role that will be based at a site in Leatherhead.
Your future duties and responsibilities.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and manage complex projects in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary environment.
The successful candidate will take responsibility for overseeing the Deployed Rollout and BAU Service deliveries within their area, ensuring that all project milestones are achieved within agreed contractual obligations and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality systems engineering solutions while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
Key Responsibilities.
• Plan, organise, and lead rollout and service delivery activities.
• Maintain appropriate staffing levels to meet project demands.
• Control and monitor rollout and delivery schedules, ensuring timely completion.
• Manage the Deployed Service Team, including Incidents, Releases, and Environments.
• Identify and mitigate project risks proactively.
• Effectively communicate with stakeholders, providing regular progress reports.
• Ensure service deliverables and catalogue items are tracked and managed under strict configuration control.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role.
• Proven track record of successfully managing projects in complex environments using Waterfall methodology.
• Strong experience collaborating within multi-disciplinary teams to deliver complex systems engineering projects.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and report-writing skills.
• Demonstrated ability in risk management, conflict resolution, and negotiation.
Desirable Experience.
• Experience with MOD-related or large UK Government transition/transformation programmes is an advantage.
