Spearhead the migration of our applications from Java 8 to the latest Java version, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum efficiency.
Branch Manager.
Create and manage new development branches.

For ongoing migration features, ensuring timely deliveries.
Dependency Strategist.
Limit the addition of new dependencies to only those necessary, discussing potential additions with the team.

Update fhc-configs service by changing pom.

Redefine dependencies in the fh-core package.
Maintain the connection point class with the logger service, without concrete implementation for now.
Utility Creator.
Create/adapt utility classes to invoke the REST API of the communications service for sending emails and SMS as needed.
Package Manager.
Move datasources/fh-lock service to a package branch, redefine dependencies, and compile as a package to be included in individual services.
What You’ll Need.
Educational Background.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Experience.
Minimum of 5 years in Java development, with a strong focus on migration projects.
Technical Skills.
Proficiency in Java 8 and the latest Java version, Maven, REST APIs, and dependency management.
Problem-Solving.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to new challenges.
Collaboration.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a proactive approach to project management.
