Position Description.
Senior IT Operations Consultant – Space unit Do you like to broaden your horizon in an international environment and develop your career with a new perspective and exciting opportunity to play a part in keeping Galileo, Europe's satellite navigation system, secure? CGI Space Netherlands is looking for a Senior IT Ops consultant with a focus on security, to work at our client site in Saint-Germain-en-Laye.
Your role in our team You’ll support Galileo’s Security Operations Centre (SOC) with non-real activities.
Major developments you’ll help prepare for are; the transition to a new monitoring system, expanding scope of the security monitoring, and service improvement through the Capability Maturity Model (SOC-CMM).
You’ll work in the hearth of Galileo’s operations, making a massive impact on the security of services used by hundreds of millions worldwide.
Day to day activities include.
• Managing the lessons learned process that is used to improve after incidents, exercises and brainstorming sessions.
• Drafting monthly reports on Galileo’s security status for major European stakeholders.
• Contributing to the periodic security performance review of Galileo’s main service provider.
• Assisting in the management of several service improvement- and expansion projects.
• Developing and aligning processes and procedures to improve the standardization and effectiveness of security operations.
How you strengthen our team For this assignment you will work fulltime on-site on EUSPA premises, located in Saint-Germain-en-Lay, which is a suburb of Paris (France).
Travel to other EUSPA locations (such as Madrid) during your assignment is foreseen.

You are a true addition to our team when you have • English language skills • >5 years of relevant experience in one or more of the following domains.
o Cyber Operations; o IT Operations; o IT Services.
• Relevant IT / security certificates besides at least a Bachelor degree Please note that holding an EU passport is mandatory for obtaining an EU Personal Security Clearance at the CONFIDENTIAL level, which is a part of our selection process.
