SENIOR FULL STACK DEVELOPER (JAVA & PYTHON)

Position Description.
Demonstrated Experience coding in more than one programming language.
Our full stack engineers work across a range of client, middle tier, messaging, caching and database technologies including Java, Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, SQL and PL/SQL Your future duties and responsibilities.
• Develops code (writes software application programs).
Develops and codes programs to integrate multiple subsystems.
• Identifies and recommends system enhancements to improve or expand customer services by anticipating customer problems and recommending solutions.
• Plans, schedules, and coordinates project design and implementation teams.
• Assists and trains others on technical or industry-related issues.
• Evaluates hardware or software product alternatives and makes recommendations.
• Provide detailed development estimates to Project Manager for development effort as well as weekly status reporting and budget forecasting! • Responsible for coding, testing, packaging, deployment and support of builds as code is promoted from development, system, acceptance and production environments.
• Prime responsibility will be to develop detailed design specifications, create and review code and assess impact on other applications.
• Role will work closely with other team members to ensure consistency in coding standards and approaches and to optimize any synergy and re-use opportunities.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role.
• Knowledge of middleware Java stack, messaging technologies, containerization, web containers and test automation.
• Demonstrated Experience in Python programming and familiarity with core data science libraries.
Deep understanding different package managers and test frameworks.
• Experience in some of the following technologies continuous integration/delivery tools such as GIT, Cloudbees Jenkins, uDeploy and/or Pivotal Concourse.
• Knowledge in python web frameworks like Flask, Django is a plus • Fluency in formal language design concepts like type systems a plus.
• Experience with quant research processes, methodologies, and tools a plus • Experience with Financial Data a plus Skills.
