Position Description.
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled DevOps Engineer to join our growing team.
In this role, you will be responsible for building, deploying, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure and ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our software development lifecycle.
Your future duties and responsibilities.
• Assess the application teams DevOps Journey and provide solutions to mature their DevOps capabilities.
• Collaborate with application teams as well as delivery, tools and infrastructure teams to identify barriers preventing adoption of DevOps best practices, tools and frameworks.
Provide solutions to address identified barriers to improve DevOps adoption rates.
• Engineer and automate the DevOps framework that can be scalable and reliable for customer adoption.
• Design, develop and promote platform services and accelerators designed to improve self-service capabilities of the DevOps platform.
• Participate in evaluations and POCs for new tools and capabilities.
• Provide DevOps consulting and SME support to delivery and application teams.
• Maintain and continuously improve DevOps best practices and standards.
• Provide troubleshooting and incident management support for DevOps platform services.
• Participate in running the DevOps Community of Practice.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role.
• 6-10 years of DevSecOps engineering experience working in anAgile (Scrum/Kanban/SAFe) environment.
• Strong hands-on experience in any scripting languages such as Groovy, Shell, Python, JavaScript, Ruby, Bash, YAML etc.
• Experienced with contemporary DevSecOps stack.
Jenkins, Git, GitHub Enterprise, Ansible, Docker, Terraform, Splunk, etc.
• Strong communication and influence skills, to explain DevOps Processes with customers & management.
• Solid team player with mentorship skills.
Desired Qualifications • Technical lead with strong automation and engineering mindset.
• Current with industry trends, IT Ops and industry best practices and able to identify the ones to implement.
• Experience with tools such as JIRA, Service NOW, AppDynamics, • Knowledge of IT Security & Compliance CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role.
