Your New Role As a Senior DataEngineer, you will support the business as the first line of contact.
You willcreate, optimise, and enhance the data architecture as well as fix upcomingissues.
You will collaborate with relevant stakeholders to find sustainablesolutions to connect our IT systems, perform root cause analysis, and findsolutions with the support of strong IT colleagues.
Responsibilities Analyse complex businessrequirements relating to the Company´s core planning environment.
Evaluate existing systemsand technologies, and propose innovative solutions to enhance operationalefficiency and drive business growth.
Support the Solution Ownerin SDLC (analysis, design, solution configuration, development, testing,deployment, rollout tasks).
Build a strong workingknowledge of existing business processes end-to-end, SystemAdministration, Mapping, and interface design.
Review, analyse, andevaluate the work of 3rd party service partners and hand over properspecifications to them.
Ensure reusability ofdesign for common processes and eliminate custom developments whereapplicable.
Analyse the business-ITenvironment to detect critical system deficiencies, and recommendsolutions for improvement.
Translate Businessrequirements into functional specs and provide estimation when requested.
Write test scripts andexecute testing as required.
Oversee software qualityassurance testing and validate solutions developed by third parties.
Document all the solutionarchitecture design and analysis work completed.
Perform project managementfor smaller solution changes What You'll Need to Succeed Bachelor's degree (orequivalent experience) in Science and Technology.
+5 years of experience asa Data Engineer or similar role.
Strong knowledge of Dataengineering concepts including Data Integration, Data Architecture, DataModelling.
Fluent in English.
Proven and practicalexperience analysing/building solutions with Cloud/On-Prem Technologiesand DevOps toolchain implementation.
Knowledge in Azuretechnologies ADF, Databricks.
Knowledge of versioncontrol tools (Git/Gitlab/Bitbucket/GitHub).
Knowledge of Python.
