Despite its development center being located in Porto and all administrative support in Lisbon, you will be part of a multicultural team that is spread across several European cities.
We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to work in a project in Porto (hybrid).
Requirements.
Strong Knowledge in Data Governance, Data Pipelines, Data quality, Data Products; Ability to design scalable and efficient data solutions on AWS, considering best practices for cloud architecture and infrastructure; Experience with relational databases (MSSQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, RedShift) and NoSQL databases; Orchestration and Workflow Management; Experience with orchestration tools such as ApacheAirflow and AWS Step Functions for automating and managing data workflows; Strong Knowledge of ETL tools and experience working with large volumes of data, with experience in messaging systems like Kafka; Knowledge in Apache Spark, AWS Glue or DataIKU; Ability to connect with other tech teams, across development, solution architecture, quality assurance, product management, Cloud & DevOps; Ability to operate with autonomy in all Data Domains to define and implement and end2end data Solutions and Products; Proactive approach to production monitoring and troubleshooting, with the ability to anticipate and mitigate potential issues; Capable of evolving into a technical lead role, with excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams; Ability to analyze requirements, define technical approaches, and propose innovative solutions to complex problems; Experience in writing solution documents, technical documentation, and the ability to challenge and refine business requirements.
