SENIOR BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYST

Position Description.
This role is hybrid and requires you to be in our downtown Toronto office (250 Yonge Street) / Client's office 3 times per week - subject to change at any time.
Your future duties and responsibilities.
• Business Area Expertise.
• Conduct thorough analysis in areas such as AML, fraud detection, transaction screening, and client screening.
• Manage data quality, completeness, and reconciliations to ensure accurate data management.
• Oversee sanctions and payments screening processes.
• Prepare and submit regulatory reports.
• Handle case management effectively.
• Data Integration and Analysis.
o Perform data mapping between systems to facilitate integrations.
o Utilize SQL and Excel for comprehensive data analysis.
• Requirements Management.
o Plan and prioritize requirements, including stakeholder analysis and effort estimation.
o Employ requirements elicitation techniques such as stakeholder analysis, facilitated workshops, observation, and prototyping.
o Manage requirements communication through walkthroughs, scope and change management, traceability, and configuration management.
o Maintain backlog management and prioritization.
• Project Delivery.
o Deliver projects using Agile methodologies, including Jira for user story creation and management.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role.
• Education.
o Relevant college, university, or post-graduate degree in Business Analysis.
• Experience.
o Minimum of 9 years working as a Business Systems Analyst with progressively increasing responsibilities.
o Proven experience in requirements management on large and complex projects/programs.
